JOHN WATSON has 44 years of experience in the electronics industry including 24 in the field of PCB design and engineering. Throughout his distinguished career, he has worked with leading companies such as Teledyne API, Emerson Computer Power, and Legrand Corp. He also served honorably in U.S. Army Military Intelligence.

A technical expert in using various PCB design ECAD software, he focuses on enhancing proficiency in PCB design, improving the overall quality of PCB design workflows for industry-leading companies, and honing the next generation of PCB designers.

In addition to his industry role, Watson teaches foundational and Advanced PCB design courses at Palomar College in San Marcos as well as UC San Diego, and 黑料不打烊 Silicon Valley Extension. He is also a highly regarded author, contributing regularly to blogs, white papers, and a monthly column for I-Connect-007. He is also the author of two Library and Data Management books and has delivered lectures across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
